Patrick Kinkade, Thomas Kinkade’s brother, will be on hand at Earth Day Texas to unveil a very special painting from Thomas Kinkade Studios release entitled, West Rim, Yosemite.

Patrick Kinkade, Thom’s brother, points out that, “We are continuing Thomas Kinkade’s commitment to sharing his love of the natural environment with the world.”

Art Brand Studios, exclusive publisher of Thomas Kinkade Artwork, will also have on display a carefully curated exhibition, of Thomas Kinkade’s best known masterworks.  Patrick will be available to meet with Thomas Kinkade collectors and sign and Remarque images purchased at the event.  Proceeds from sales of West Rim, Yosemite will benefit important environmental initiatives supported by Earth Day Texas.

About West Rim, Yosemite

“West Rim, Yosemite” is a continuation of one of Thomas Kinkade’s favorite and most popular artistic themes, the Great Outdoors. In “West Rim, Yosemite” both the great monolith El Capitan and waterfall Bridalveil Falls are prominently featured in an epic landscape from Thom’s Great Outdoors era. The Hudson River and Rocky Mountain Schools of painting heavily influenced Thomas Kinkade’s early work and are exemplified in this piece. His paintings during this period often feature vast, epic landscapes and open vistas where he played with the use of shadows and contrast.

Fascinated by the beauty of nature, Thomas Kinkade focused many masterful works on the US National Parks. It was with great pleasure that earlier in his career, he was designated an Official Artist of the National Park Service. This year, 2016, being the 100th anniversary of the US Park Service, Art Brand Studios is releasing this significant painting to celebrate and honor Earth Day and the Great Outdoors.
